Meet the team
Our team is led by Lija Taylor, Director and Support Coordinator, who brings a deep understanding of NDIS processes and participant advocacy. Taylormade also collaborates with experienced professionals and trusted networks to ensure continuity of care, especially during emergency or succession planning. Our approach is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and attuned to each participant's unique needs and preferences.

What we do
Support Coordination (Level 2)

- Help you implement and coordinate your supports in a way that suits your lifestyle and goals.
- Strengthen your ability to understand and use your NDIS plan.
- Build your skills and confidence to participate more actively in your community.
- Ensure mainstream services (like housing, education, justice, or health) meet their responsibilities.
- Provide the NDIA with outcome reports within agreed timeframes.
Support Coordination helps you make the most of your NDIS plan by bringing all your supports together — informal, mainstream, community, and funded — to work in harmony.
Specialist Support Coordination (Level 3)
Specialist Support Coordination is designed for participants with more complex needs or high-risk situations. It is time-limited and operates within a specialised framework to reduce barriers, respond to crises, and stabilise challenging circumstances.
- Connecting with the right supports and services.
- Navigating complex systems and addressing service gaps.
- Designing and coordinating comprehensive service responses.
- Building long-term capacity, resilience, and sustainable support networks.
- Supporting crisis planning, response, and mitigation.
- Working alongside other systems (such as health, justice, or housing) to ensure continuity of care and reduce risk.
- Providing clear and targeted reporting to the NDIA.
Specialist Support Coordination is tailored, responsive, and always person-centred — supporting you during times of significant transition, risk, or instability.
Roles and Key Tasks of a Support Coordinator
At Taylormade Support Coordination, we work alongside participants to strengthen their ability to navigate the NDIS and build the life they want. A Support Coordinator's role is flexible and responsive, depending on your goals, needs, and what’s funded in your plan.
We can assist you to:
Understand and Navigate Your Plan
- Help you understand what’s included in your NDIS plan and how to use it effectively.
- Guide you through the NDIS system so you feel confident making your own choices.
Connect with Supports
- Link you with the right providers, therapists, mainstream services, and informal supports.
- Coordinate and schedule your services based on your preferences.
Build Your Capacity and Resilience
- Strengthen your ability to manage your supports more independently over time.
- Help you prepare for unexpected changes or challenges.
- Support you with crisis planning, prevention, and mitigation strategies.
Coordinate and Design Support Approaches
- Tailor supports to meet your individual needs.
- Establish sustainable support networks and ensure services are working together.
Monitor and Reflect
- Track how well your plan is working for you.
- Help you make adjustments if something isn’t working.
- Monitor your budget to ensure your supports are sustainable over the plan period.
Provide Reporting
- Provide outcome-focused reports to the NDIA within required timeframes, particularly for plan reviews and significant change.
How we help
Working with the NDIS
We work collaboratively with the NDIA, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), Plan Managers, and service providers. We stay updated on policy changes, such as the transition to the PACE system, and advocate for timely, appropriate funding decisions. Our experience ensures we know what information is required and how to present it effectively.

Navigating Your Plan
Understanding your plan can be overwhelming. We walk you through each section and explain what your funding means in practical terms. We track budgets, align supports with goals, and make sure services are delivered as planned. We can also assist with requesting plan variations, extensions, or reviews when things change.
Finding the Right Providers
We maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local and national providers, including:
- Allied health professionals
- Community and day programs
- Housing and support services
- Culturally specific services
And most importantly — we help you choose what you want.
